When the Data Didn't Match the Assumption
A client came to us convinced they knew what their constituency wanted, based on years of experience and what their own team was telling them. We ran a door to door survey across the constituency before finalising any strategy. The results didn't match the assumption. What the public actually wanted, and how they ranked their priorities, was different enough that the original plan would have missed the mark. We rebuilt the messaging and manifesto priorities around what the survey actually showed, not what felt right in the room.
Giving Every Complaint a Number
A representative wanted a way for constituents to raise issues directly, without it disappearing into someone's phone or a stack of paper applications. We built a communication system where a voter could raise a request and receive a service request number for it, with a proper tracking mechanism behind it, so both the constituent and the office could see where it stood. What used to be an informal, easy to lose process became something the representative's office could actually manage and be accountable for.
From No Presence to Real Reach
A candidate came to us with almost no social media presence, a few old posts, no consistent voice, and no real strategy behind any of it. We built a platform strategy from scratch, planned and produced content in the candidate's own voice, and managed day to day posting against a real content plan instead of sporadic updates. Reach and engagement grew substantially over the following months, and social media went from being an afterthought to a real channel the candidate's voters actually followed.
Mapping Every Booth Before the Campaign Started
A candidate wanted a serious, data backed run at their seat, not a campaign built on instinct. Our data team mapped the entire constituency down to the polling booth level, using past election results to understand exactly where support was strong, where it was soft, and where it could realistically be moved. That booth level map became the backbone of the campaign, deciding where resources, visits, and outreach actually went, instead of spreading effort evenly across an area where it wasn't equally needed.

Why iPolitycal exists.
Politics in India has no shortage of consultants selling the same playbook to every candidate: a media plan, a slogan, a WhatsApp strategy, and a bill at the end of it. iPolitycal started from a simpler observation: campaigns and political careers were still being run on instinct and borrowed templates, in a country where every other kind of strategy work had already moved toward evidence and structured analysis.
Since 2021
iPolitycal was founded in 2021 on a direct instinct: apply the same discipline used in structured strategy work to campaigns and political careers instead of the recycled playbooks most consultants reach for. That meant grassroots first analysis rather than top down messaging, and consultants who stay through execution rather than handing over a report and stepping away.
